Help me to avoid a bad decision :) For my next payday I figured it's time for a nice camera.
I never..ever..imagined I'd be into photography one day, but one seminar [...]
[...] two semesters ago changed my perception.
It was a geography seminar where we had to walk around the city of Mainz/Germany to take
pictures of selected areas like the custom harbor of Mainz for example.
Although only equipped with an old Canon IXUS 55 (5 megapixel^^), I really had a lot of fun walking around with one of my best friends from university and shooting pictures.
Back then I already made up my mind to bring my interest in photography to the next level and buy a fine SLR. Every new month I dropped the plan for some other stupid things I needed to buy or cause I couldn't
keep my hands out of the fashion-cookie-jar. NOT THIS TIME!
Though, I cannot decide: Is it the Sony Alpha 55 or the Nikon D5100? The Sony offers the fastest SLR of all the SLRs below 1000€, however the rechargeable battery has a short lifetime. The Nikon on the other hand is not that of a fast shooter, but it offers the best picture quality of all SLRs below 1000€ and the rechargeable battery has a longer lifetime than the Sony. Decisions! Decisions! I need advice, comment me!

Danke Jenny ich freu mich auch drauf :)
DeleteIt depends on your interest...I guess you don't do parkour...and so you don't need to take picture for an amazing impression of a moment so...take your time, take it slow and take the nikon ;) battery has a longer lifetime and the picture quality is amazing so you, aka Dre Hefner, are able to take pictures of playmates for a looooooooooong....looooooooooooooong time *.~ cheers bro
ReplyDeletehaha thanks Andy guess I'll have to send u my private bunny kalender with my photography then :)
