Hey guys,
Swag and the problems of traditional men in modern society - a short essay
One thing I gotta clear up before you start reading. This may not work for every woman out there but the percentage of "positive matches" out there is surely increasing.
When I was a child my daddy always taught me things like: when you come into a room with people, may it be friends or strangers, you always introduce yourself to women first before you shake hands with men. Further obvious things like when you see a woman carrying a heavy bag or sth., help her with it. I could go on for days, but that's not the main focus of my essay.
I don't exactly know how society got there but I believe false interpretations of the emancipation of women had a lot to do with the fact that the gentleman is dying out.. let me explain!
Happened so often to me that whenever I was trying to help a girl/woman with something she goes like: "I can do this on my own" or "I don't need help I'm fine".
Do not get me wrong: emancipation of women is a good thing, however it occurs that women often interpretated a little bit too much out of it.
When at some point women believe they can achieve everything on their own and they don't need a man, I question the credibility of those women saying: "I want a gentleman!"
When women in society have reached the status where they become human beings able to fulfil the male as well as the female roles I question: What is then left for us gentlemen of the creation?
A precarious topic don't you think?

i think it all has to do with respect. equality of the sexes doesn't mean that we should lose respect of one another. so a man can still open the door for a lady or gift her with flowers. and a woman can still wear dresses and ribbons in her hair, and still be self-assured and spread her wings.
